My overriding desire in life is to help people get out of tough situations. I am beyond fortunate to be able to not only accomplish this mission for a living, but also on a team that has the same vision. Our goal as a team is to get you in and out of the justice system (or help you avoid it altogether) as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The other part of the desire to get people out of tough situations arises on the consulting side. As a team we help our clients avoid potential legal trouble through advising and reviewing documents necessary for our clients to make a living and/or run a successful business.
Ty McTier joined TLG Law in October 2015. Ty practices in the areas of business litigation, real estate litigation, appellate practice, handgun permit appeals, intellectual property litigation, and judgment collection.
In his practice, Ty has represented clients in front of the District and Superior Court of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, the Western and Middle Federal District Courts of North Carolina as well as the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Ty has also practiced in front of the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings.
Ty received his Bachelors in Psychology from Covenant College in May 2011. In addition to his studies he also played college baseball while attending Covenant College. Ty received his law degree from Charlotte School of Law in May 2015 as a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and Order of the Crown honor society.
Aside from his work, Ty recharges by spending time with his family, camping, archery and making longbows.
