Michael is a civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, catastrophic personal injury claims, insurance defense matters, and construction defect disputes. Additionally, he assists businesses and individuals with insurance claim management, lien enforcement, and landlord/tenant dispute resolution.

After pursuing a degree and career in the arts, Michael went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC, where he fell in love with the rural hills of North Carolina. Having been raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, his strong desire to help the people of both of his respective homes drove him to become a proud member of both the North and South Carolina Bars. To that end, during his studies, he actively focused on giving back to the local community, leading Wake Forest’s “Feeding Frenzy” food drive, in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys hiking and traveling with his friends and family. In between trials, you can also find him actively engaged in local trivia nights and playing guitar (albeit poorly) on his back porch.
