Austin is a civil litigation attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction matters, and HOA disputes. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Alabama and is a licensed member of the North Carolina State Bar.
Raised in a long line of construction workers, Austin grew up around the industry and became a lawyer to represent the hard-working people who build our communities from the ground up. Austin serves his community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation, Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyers’ Division Education Committee and is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar CLE Committee. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Austin worked with the Justice Access Initiative to assist North Carolina courts create a comprehensive plan to resume jury trials.
Austin is an Eagle Scout and a member of the NC Lawyers Weekly Rising Stars Class of 2021, a program that recognizes lawyers who have been out of law school 10 years or less and have made a strong impact in the legal community.
When he is not fighting for his clients, Austin enjoys watching college football (Roll Tide!) and spending time with his golden retrievers.
